The premises of the chateau are very green, including some very rare species. Following the rebuilding of the former Dominican monastery into an Empire-style chateau around 1826, the chateau park next to the former monastery gardens saw extensive modernisation as well. It was designed as a landscaped park adjacent to a former game preserve and included the slopes of the castle hill. It was kept this way to this day. The Boskovice castle is just a short walk up the hill from the chateau. The complex includes the lower chateau park and Hotel Pod Zámkem.
